We create custom websites to fit your needs. We rarely us pre-made content management systems (CMS), we prefer to use a framework called Django.

The key difference is that one seeks to generalize a process while the other seeks to streamline it. In other words, the CMS are trying to be the "one size fits all" solution while frameworks like Django are trying to make the process of building website more efficient and less repetitive.

The problem with the one size fits all solution is that it hardly ever fits out of the box. So it needs to be tweaked, which by itself leads to problems, either immediate or future.

For that reason, the best route taken isn’t always the straight one. Sometimes taking the longer route leads to better places.

We mostly use MySQL and SQLite3 databases when working with interactive websites or applications, but Django can talk to other database types such as PostgreSQL and Oracle.
